Join us on 16 February for a screening and discussion with acclaimed journalist and filmmaker Andrey Loshak.
On the eve of the 2018 presidential election, he released his groundbreaking series The Age of Dissent — a portrait of young supporters of Alexei Navalny who took part in his campaign. In the sequel, The Age of Dissent 2, Loshak follows how, over the past six years, the lives of these activists have changed dramatically — those who once dreamed, together with Navalny, of a “beautiful Russia of the future.”
Filming was nearly complete when news broke of the politician’s death. The film’s protagonists now face a painful question: how to live without a dream or hope.
