DESCRIPTION:27 марта состоится встреча с прекрасным художником и мультипликатором ИРИНОЙ ЛИТМАНОВИЧ. \nФильмы Ирины Литманович — тихие\, остроумные и очень человечные. Они будто нарисованы не только рукой\, но и внимательным взглядом на жизнь: на маленькие абсурды повседневности\, на странности людей\, на смешное и трогательное\, которое мы обычно не замечаем.\nЛитманович — режиссёр\, художник и рассказчик одновременно. Она создаёт анимацию\, где важна каждая линия и каждая пауза. Среди её работ — ироничные и по-своему философские фильмы\, такие как “Хеломские обычаи”\, “Домашний романс” и недавний фильм “Ненаписанная пьеса. Один день из жизни одного драматурга”.\nЭто редкий случай\, когда анимация похожа на хороший рассказ — немного смешной\, немного грустный и очень точный.\nПосле показа поговорим с Ириной о её фильмах\, о том\, как рождаются такие истории\, и о том\, как вообще устроена авторская анимация. Донаты приветствуются. \n  \nOn March 27\, we will host a meeting with the wonderful artist and animator IRINA LITMANOVICH. \nIrina Litmanovich’s films are quiet\, witty\, and deeply human. They seem to be drawn not only by hand\, but also with a careful eye for life: for the small absurd moments of everyday life\, for people’s oddities\, and for the funny and touching things we often overlook. \nLitmanovich is a director\, an artist\, and a storyteller at the same time. She creates animation where every line and every pause matters. Among her works are the ironic and gently philosophical films Khelm Customs\, Domestic Romance\, and the recent film An Unwritten Play: One Day in the Life of a Playwright. \nIt is a rare kind of animation that feels like a good short story — a little funny\, a little sad\, and very precise. \nAfter the screening\, we will talk with Irina about her films\, about how these stories come to life\, and about the art of independent animation. Французский режиссёр армянского происхождения возвращается к своим корням. Четырежды за три десятилетия – с 1987 по 2019 год – Серж Аведикян приезжает в Сёлёз\, деревню своих предков\, расположенную в 170 км к югу от Стамбула. Эти возвращения складываются в глубокое высказывание об идентичности\, исторической правде и возможности примирения. \n“Chienne d’histoire”  \nКонстантинополь\, 1910 год. На улицах города слишком много бездомных собак. SUMMARY:Trauma-informed approach to historical memory and current tragedies
DESCRIPTION:In 2026 our world is facing many social\, political\, economical challenges and there is an ongoing question: what can be done to resolve them and what can we do to restore ourselves after facing “major historical events” around ourselves. \nIs it helpful to look at historical events as collective traumas? What are the ways to deal with social\, political and economical consequences of wars\, conflicts and genocides if we add trauma-informed perspective. \nAre there success-stories and good experience in dealing with historical traumas and collective tragedies: \nDialogue\, \nReconciliation\, \nPeace building \nPeace education \nLessons learned from denazfication in Germany and if this can be somehow applied to a Russian invasion to Ukraine. \nRegister here

Marie-Thérèse\, Luxembourg \n\nMARIAM DAVTYAN & NAREK MINASSIAN \nIn cooperation with ACAT LUXEMBOURG & LuxEUREKA \nSupported by ŒUVRE NATIONALE \n\nCONTEXT & RATIONALE \nUnder the theme of Trauma\, Historical Memory\, and Dialogue\, this dance workshop is a core \ncomponent of the cultural and educational program in Luxembourg (April 2026)\, co-organised \nby ACAT Luxembourg and LuxEureka\, supported by Œuvre Nationale\, dedicated to the themes \nof collective memory and inclusive dialogue. \nDance is deployed here as a universal\, embodied language – a non-verbal form of witness\, \nhealing\, and encounter. Participants from diverse cultural and national backgrounds engage \nwith difficult historical themes through movement\, shared rhythm\, and collective creation\, \nbuilding bridges across memory and identity. \n\nWORKSHOP AIM & OBJECTIVES \nOverall Aim \nTo create an inclusive\, hybrid dance piece that symbolically represents unity\, coexistence\, and \nshared humanity – using movement as an instrument of dialogue\, remembrance\, and reflection. \nSpecific Objectives \n\n\n\nBring together 10–15 participants of diverse nationalities and cultural backgrounds \n\n\nEstablish a safe\, inclusive\, and respectful space for cultural exchange through dance \n\n\nExplore national dance forms and movement vocabularies contributed by participants \n\n\nCollaboratively develop a hybrid choreography integrating multiple cultural traditions \n\n\nIncorporate live national musical instruments\, eschewing digital playback \n\n\nAnalyse poetry and literary texts and translate their imagery into movement \n\n\nPresent a short final performance for an invited audience \n\n\nInvite passive observers – artists\, students\, cultural workers – to witness and engage with \n\n\n\nthe creative process \nPARTICIPANTS & TARGET GROUPS \nActive Participants \n10-15 dancers\, movement practitioners\, and interested individuals of mixed nationalities and \nbackgrounds. No strict professional training is required; the workshop operates on an inclusive \nand a participatory model welcoming all levels of experience. \nPassive Participants / Observers \nArtists\, students\, cultural workers\, and general audience members are invited to observe \nrehearsal sessions\, engage in facilitated discussions\, and witness the final presentation.
